Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In one bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, cream unsalted butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
  4. Gradually combine the dry mixture into the wet mixture. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes. Allow to cool completely.
  6. For the buttercream, beat softened unsalted butter until creamy; gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk until desired consistency is reached.
