Description

Indulge in savory stuffed bell peppers filled with ground beef and rice, topped with gooey melted cheese—an ultimate comfort food perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • Bell peppers (red, yellow, green)
  • Lean ground beef
  • Cooked rice (white or brown)
  • Finely chopped onion
  • Minced garlic
  • Tomato sauce
  • Shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • Italian seasoning or smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Slice the tops off the bell peppers and remove seeds.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté chopped onions and garlic until fragrant, then add ground beef and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in cooked rice and tomato sauce; season with spices and mix well. Let simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Generously stuff each pepper with the filling and place them upright in a baking dish. Top with shredded cheese.
  5. Cover loosely with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil during the last 10 minutes to melt the cheese. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
