Ingredients
- 12 jumbo pasta shells
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
- ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Boil salted water in a large pot and cook jumbo pasta shells until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and let cool slightly. Mix with ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, herbs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Fill each shell with the beef mixture. Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish; place stuffed shells seam side up on top and cover with remaining sauce.
