  • 1 liter full-fat milk
  • 150g sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 4 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter)

  • 50g raisins (optional)

Instructions

  1. Grate the fresh carrots and set them aside.
  2. In a wide pan, melt ghee over medium heat. SautΓ© the grated carrots for about 8 minutes until softened.
  3. Pour in the milk and let it simmer on low heat, stirring occasionally, until reduced by half.
  4. Stir in sugar and cardamom powder, cooking for an additional 10-15 minutes until well combined.
  5. Fold in chopped nuts and optional raisins; cook for a few more minutes until aromatic.
