- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup tomato puree
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh garlic, minced
- Spices: cumin, coriander, garam masala
- Fresh cilantro and lemon juice for garnish
Instructions
- 1. Marinate chicken: In a bowl, mix yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, cumin, coriander, garam masala, and salt. Add chicken pieces and coat well. Let sit for at least 30 minutes.
- 2. Cook chicken: Heat half the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add marinated chicken and cook until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside.
- 3. Prepare sauce: In the same skillet, melt remaining butter. SautΓ© chopped onions until translucent. Stir in ginger-garlic paste, then add tomato puree and heavy cream. Simmer gently.
- 4. Combine: Return cooked chicken to the skillet with any accumulated juices. Simmer on low for 15-20 minutes until thickened.
- 5. Finish: Stir in fresh cilantro leaves and lemon juice before serving.
