- 2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.

- 4. Roll out the risen dough to ½ inch thickness and cut out circles using a donut cutter.
- 5. Heat oil in a skillet to medium heat (3 inches deep) and fry each donut for about 1 minute per side until golden brown.
- 6. Whip heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form. Fill cooled donuts using a piping bag.
