- 1 lb Sirloin or Ribeye steak
- 8 oz Fettuccine or Penne pasta
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tsp Italian herbs (oregano & basil)
Instructions
- Prepare all ingredients: chop garlic, grate Parmesan, and cut steak into bite-sized pieces.
- Cook pasta in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and sear the seasoned steak pieces until browned (about 5 minutes). Remove from pan.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute). Add heavy cream and scrape any bits from the bottom of the pan; stir in Parmesan until melted.
- Combine cooked pasta and seared steak in the sauce, tossing until well-coated. If too thick, add reserved pasta water as needed.
- Serve immediately with extra Parmesan and fresh herbs if desired.
