  • 1 can kidney beans, rinsed
  • 1 can black beans, rinsed
  • 1 medium onion, diced

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode; add olive oil and sauté diced onion and minced garlic until translucent (about 3-4 minutes).
  2. Add the ground meat and cook until browned (approximately 5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Stir in chili powder, salt, pepper, and diced tomatoes until well combined.
  4. Gently mix in rinsed beans and add 1 cup of water or broth.
  5. Seal the lid and set to manual pressure cook on high for 15 minutes. Allow natural release for about 10 minutes before quick releasing any remaining pressure.
