  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
  • 6 slices crispy bacon
  • 2 fresh jalapeños, finely chopped
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 12 soft slider buns
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Ketchup and mustard to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or skillet over medium heat. Chop jalapeños and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix ground beef with salt, pepper, onion powder, and half of the jalapeños.
  3. Form small patties (about 2 oz each) and create indents in the center.
  4. Cook patties on grill or skillet for 3-4 minutes per side until they reach 160°F internal temperature.
  5. Add cheese and remaining jalapeños during the last minute of cooking; cover until melted.
  6. Toast slider buns until golden brown. Assemble by placing patties between buns with bacon and condiments.
