  • 9 no-boil lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat, then stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning; simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, and half of the grated Parmesan until smooth.
  4. Spread a thin layer of meat sauce at the bottom of a baking dish. Layer noodles, followed by ricotta mixture, meat sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
  5. Cover with foil (shiny side down) and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.
