Description

Indulge in these homemade Ferrero Rocher truffles, featuring a luscious chocolate-hazelnut center, surrounded by crunchy wafer layers and rich dark chocolate. Perfect for any special occasion or a sweet treat!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup roasted hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread
  • 1 cup thin wafer cookies, crushed
  • 8 oz dark chocolate (70% cocoa), chopped
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

Instructions

  1. Grind roasted hazelnuts in a food processor until finely ground but slightly chunky. Mix with chocolate hazelnut spread and crushed wafer cookies until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into one-inch balls and place them on a parchment-lined tray. Freeze for 30 minutes to firm up.
  3. Melt dark chocolate and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring until smooth.
  4. Dip each frozen ball into the melted chocolate, letting excess drip off before placing them back on the tray.
  5. Sprinkle crushed hazelnuts on top while the chocolate is still wet and allow to set at room temperature or refrigerate until hardened.
