Ingredients
- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 cup bell peppers, chopped
- 1/2 cup green onions, sliced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and black pepper.
- Add olive oil to the skillet and sear chicken for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.

- In the last few minutes of cooking, add chopped bell peppers and sliced green onions.
