  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried rosemary
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Boil peeled potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (15–20 minutes). Drain, return to pot, and mash with butter and milk until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté chopped onions and diced carrots in olive oil until softened (about 5 minutes).
  4. Add ground meat to the skillet along with Worcestershire sauce; cook until browned (7–10 minutes). Stir in thyme, rosemary, and peas during the last few minutes.
  5. Spoon the meat mixture into a baking dish and spread the mashed potatoes on top. Create peaks for browning.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
