Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 crusty bread loaves
  • 8 oz spaghetti pasta
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice tops off the bread loaves and hollow them out gently, saving the insides for breadcrumbs.
  3. Boil salted water in a large pot; cook spaghetti until al dente, then drain and reserve some pasta water.
  4. In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  5. Combine drained spaghetti with garlic butter, reserved pasta water, salt, pepper, and half of the Parmesan cheese.
  6. Fill each hollowed bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture; top with remaining cheese. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
