Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cut the tops off the bell peppers and remove seeds. Place them upright in a baking dish.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat; sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- In a bowl, mix cooked rice, ground meat, sautéed onion and garlic, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each pepper generously with the filling.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil, sprinkle cheese on top, and bake uncovered for an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.
