  • 2 cups marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil (chopped)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil water in a large pot with salt. Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and let cool slightly.
  2. In a bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Stuff each shell with about two tablespoons of the cheese mixture.
  4. Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Spread half of the marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  5. Arrange filled shells in a single layer over the sauce. Pour remaining marinara sauce over them and sprinkle with extra mozzarella.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; uncover and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
