  • 1 inch fresh ginger (peeled)
  • 1–2 green chilies (to taste)
  • ΒΌ cup fresh coriander leaves (chopped)
  • Β½ tsp turmeric powder
  • Salt (to taste)
  • 2 tbsp oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. 1. Soak the green moong dal in water overnight.
  2. 2. Drain and blend the soaked dal with ginger and green chilies until smooth but slightly coarse.
  3. 3. In a bowl, mix the batter with chopped coriander, turmeric, and salt until well combined.
  4. 4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat, add oil, and allow it to warm.
  5. 5. Pour half a cup of batter onto the skillet, spreading it into a circle. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until bubbles form, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
