  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • For the Glaze: 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, eggs, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the ketchup, brown sugar, and Dijon mustard to create the glaze.
  4. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf on a lined baking sheet or place it into a loaf pan.
  5. Brush half of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf. Reserve the other half for later.
  6. Bake for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C). Brush on additional glaze during the last 15 minutes of cooking.
