Instructions

  3. In another bowl, beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs one at a time and mix in vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually combine dry ingredients with wet mixture, alternating with milk until just combined.
  6. Fill cupcake liners two-thirds full and bake for 18-20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Cool completely before frosting with buttercream.
