Paired with a flavorful sauce, they create a satisfying meal that brings everyone together. Whether served in tacos, salads, or on their own, steak strips promise an explosion of taste that will leave your family asking for more.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb sirloin steak
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers (mixed colors), sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1/4 cup fresh herbs (parsley or cilantro)
  • For the Sauce: 3 tbsp soy sauce (low-sodium recommended)
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Optional: 1 tsp chili powder

Instructions

  1. Trim excess fat from the sirloin steak and slice it into thin strips against the grain.
  2. In a bowl, combine steak strips with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. When hot, add the steak strips and sear for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
  4. Remove the steak from the skillet; add sliced onions and bell peppers. Sauté for about 5 minutes until soft.
  5. Return the steak to the skillet along with soy sauce, lime juice, and chili powder if desired. Stir until heated through (2-3 minutes).
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs.
