Instructions

  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In another pot, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in flour to form a roux, then gradually whisk in milk until thickened. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar until melted.
  4. Mix the cooked pasta and browned beef into the cheese sauce until evenly coated.
  5. For a crispy topping, transfer to a greased baking dish, sprinkle breadcrumbs on top, and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
