  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook ziti in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat for 7-8 minutes; drain excess fat.
  4. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  6. In a baking dish, layer half of the cooked ziti, half of the ricotta mixture, and half of the meat sauce. Repeat layers.
  7. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
