Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 8 oz provolone cheese, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper (optional), sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by slicing the ribeye steak while slightly frozen for easier cutting. Chop onions and green peppers if using.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and sauté onions and peppers until soft and fragrant (about 5-7 minutes).
  3. Increase heat to high, add ribeye steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned (approximately 3-5 minutes).
  4. Lower the heat slightly, layer provolone cheese on top of the beef mixture, cover until melted (about 2 minutes).
  5. While cheese melts, slice hoagie rolls in half and toast under the broiler for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Assemble sandwiches by scooping cheesy steak into each toasted roll and serve hot.
