Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, mix the red velvet cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water until smooth.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely, then crumble into a large bowl.
- Mix in cream cheese frosting until well combined but not too wet.
- Form small balls (about 1 inch in diameter) from the mixture and place on a parchment-lined tray. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Melt candy melts in the microwave in short bursts until smooth.
- Dip each chilled cake ball halfway into the melted chocolate and return to parchment paper. Decorate with sprinkles while still wet.
