  • 1 cup short-grain sushi rice
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup crab meat or imitation crab
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • For the sauce: 3 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. Rinse sushi rice under cold water until clear. Cook according to package instructions.
  3. In a bowl, mix cooked rice, cream cheese, crab meat, and soy sauce until well combined.
  4. Fold in green onions and half of the sriracha mayo mixture.
  5. Spread half the rice mixture in the baking dish. Layer remaining sriracha mayo on top, followed by more filling.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese and sesame seeds on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  8. Serve hot with extra green onions as garnish.
