Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prick each sweet potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape.
- Optionally, rub the sweet potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Baking
- Place the sweet potatoes on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until tender when pierced with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Sweet potatoes can be served plain or topped with butter, cinnamon, or your favorite toppings.
