Method
Prepare the banana bars
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

Make the cream cheese frosting
- In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
- Gradually add the powdered sugar and mix until well combined.
- Add the vanilla extract and milk, mixing until the frosting reaches your desired consistency.
Assemble the dessert
- Once the banana bars are completely cooled, spread the cream cheese frosting evenly over the top.
- Cut into squares and serve.
