Ingredients

Dough
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup warm water about 110°F
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
Toppings
  • 4 ounces goat cheese crumbled
  • 1 cup fresh spinach washed and dried
  • 1 medium red onion thinly sliced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil chopped
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze for drizzling

Method

Prepare the Dough
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
Assemble the Pizza
  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
  2. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough to a parchment paper-lined pizza peel or baking sheet.
  4. Spread the fresh spinach evenly over the dough, followed by the sliced red onion and halved cherry tomatoes.
  5. Crumble the goat cheese over the top and sprinkle with chopped basil.
  6. Carefully slide the pizza onto the preheated stone or baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze before slicing and serving.
