Ingredients
  

Fresh Ingredients
  • 2 cups ripe mango, diced about 2 medium mangoes
  • 1 cup red bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 medium jalapeño, seeded and minced adjust for spice preference
  • 1 lime juiced
Seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Method
 

Prepare the Ingredients
  1. Dice the ripe mango, red bell pepper, and jalapeño, and finely chop the red onion and cilantro.
Mix the Salsa
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced mango, red bell pepper, red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro.
  2. Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture and add salt and black pepper to taste.
  3. Gently toss all the ingredients together until well combined.
Serve
  1. Serve immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos.
  2. For best flavor, let the salsa sit for 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

This salsa can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. The flavors will intensify over time.
