Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 2 cups crushed pretzels
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping
Topping
  • 2 cups strawberries sliced
  • 1 cup strawberry gelatin prepared

Method
 

Prepare the Crust
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine crushed pretzels, granulated sugar, and melted butter.
  3. Press the mixture into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, then let cool.
Make the Filling
  1. In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. Fold in the whipped topping until well combined.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
Prepare the Topping
  1. In a separate bowl, mix the sliced strawberries with the prepared strawberry gelatin.
  2. Spread the strawberry mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  3. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best results, use fresh strawberries and allow the salad to chill thoroughly before serving.
