  • 2 large sweet potatoes peeled and cut into fries
Oil and Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for coating
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika for flavor
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder optional
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into fries, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. In a mixing bowl, toss the sweet potato fries with olive oil, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper until evenly coated.
Baking
  1. Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
  3. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra crispiness, soak the cut sweet potatoes in water for 30 minutes before baking, then dry thoroughly.
